Charlo Roux completed his B Proc degree in 1992 and was admitted as an Attorney in 1994. Before becoming part of the Gert Nel Inc team, Charlo worked at the Road Accident Fund as a Senior Litigation Officer in the Litigation Department. After his stint in the public sector he joined Maponya Inc and was appointed as a Director of the firm. After leaving Maponya,

Charlo joined Gildenhuys Lessing Malatji Inc as a Senior Associate for a period of four years.
Charlo joined Gert Nel Inc in September 2010 and is currently a Director of the firm and head of litigation. He currently focuses on matters relating to Personal Injury Law, Unlawful Arrests and Detention and Professional and Medical Negligence claims. He has right of appearance in the High Court and his main fields of expertise include general High Court Litigation.

On a day-to-day basis Charlo’s practice include the assessment and investigation of claims, the quantification of damages as well as conducting the litigation process on behalf of accident victims and other clients.
