Ju-an Massyn
Ju-an began his journey with Gert Nel Incorporated in 2023 when he joined the firm as an administrative clerk while completing the final year of his LLB degree.
He obtained his BA Law degree from the University of Pretoria in 2021 and completed his LLB in 2023. He also attended the Gawie le Roux School of Law, where he completed practical legal training to prepare for practice.
In 2024, Ju-an commenced his articles at the firm and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2025. He is currently enrolled to pursue his LLM degree through the University of South Africa in 2026.
During his time at the firm, Ju-an has gained practical experience in personal injury litigation, particularly in third-party motor vehicle accident claims.
His work has included client consultations, preparing and assessing matters, and contributing to the effective progression of claims. He has appeared in the Magistrates’ Court and assisted in appeal-related matters.
